DIY: Candle Jars

paint-stroke

Hello lovelies,

I thought that I would end this week with a fun, easy, cute DIY for you all. I found this DIY whilst scrolling through Buzzfeed so thought I’d give it a try and share it with you all.  I hope you enjoy : )

What you’ll need:

– A clean, clear jar

– String or twine

– Sticky tape

– White paint

Step 1: Tape the end of your string to the bottom of your jar and wrap the string tightly around the jar.

Step 2: Paint your jar the colour you have chosen. I used a very pale mint colour.

Step 3: Once fully painted leave to dry or dry with a hair dryer. Then either repeat the process and  do a second coat which will make your jar look less streaky or, as I did, leave it as it is and move on to step 4.

Step 4: Once dry, peal away the string and leave to dry for another 5 minutes.

That’s it! You now have a cute candle holder that you can either give as a gift for someone or to keep for yourself!
